Migori Youth captain Clifford Otieno is optimistic his side will return to winning ways when they host National Super League (NSL) league leaders FC Talanta on Friday (today) at Migori Stadium.
Speaking to the Standard Sports, Otieno said they have been preparing for the league leaders all week and have worked out their problems and mistakes that saw them lose their round 21 match played last weekend in Nairobi.
Migori lost 2-1 to relegation-threatened Mount Kenya United at Camp Toyoyo, a result that left them 14th in the log with 25 points, 15 points behind leaders Talanta.
“We are ready for Talanta. We know it won’t be an easy ride to win against an informed team in Talanta but we will be playing at home in Migori and they should expect a tough match,” Otieno said.
In Nairobi, Kisumu Hot Stars will also be hoping to turn around their poor form when they travel to play Kibera Black Stars at Ligi Ndogo Grounds.
