The Miss Heritage crown is popular, but we haven't heard much about the Mrs Heritage title. And that was one of the highlights of the Heritage Pageants Kenya 2024 competition held a week ago in Nairobi.
The new Mrs Heritage International Kenya 2024 is Phlavia Akinyi, a beauty who beat dozens of finalists to be crowned queen during the glitzy ceremony held at the Nairobi Film Centre.
Warren Peter was crowned Mr Heritage International Kenya 2024 while Nicole Otieno won the prestigious Miss Heritage International Kenya 2024 title.

Organised by Pamoja Voice Africa under the theme 'Celebrating Culture, Promoting Diversity and Building a Sustainable Future', the event highlighted the importance of preserving Kenya's cultural heritage while promoting tourism and environmental sustainability.
The winners will represent the country at the upcoming Heritage International Pageant in Thailand in November.
In addition to the top winners, several ambassadorial titles were awarded for their role in promoting tourism, environmental conservation and peace.
"We are thrilled with the overwhelming support and participation we received at this year's event. Heritage Pageants Kenya is not just a beauty pageant. It is a movement to promote Kenya's cultural identity, empower our youth and promote sustainable tourism. Our crowned ambassadors will proudly represent our nation internationally and act as stewards of peace, environmental conservation and cultural pride," said Immaculate Onyoni, National Director of Heritage Pageants Kenya.
