You will need to prepare for the ‘mother of all rains’ this afternoon, the weatherman now says.
The Nairobi metropolis is expected to experience unusually heavy rainfall on Friday afternoon, the Kenya Meteorological Department has warned.
In a daily advisory, Kenya Met wrote; “Attention Nairobi metropolitan residents. Prepare for heavy to very heavy rainfall this Friday.”
Several parts of Nairobi including Kasarani, Embakasi East, Ruiru, and Kajiado North have been mapped out that will likely be the most affected.
This follows heavy rains that pounded the country in the last 24 hours, hampering several operations and leading to traffic gridlocks.
