The 24-year old mental health activist and audiovisual producer will be crowning her successor as the curtains of the Miss Universe 2024 competition come down in Mexico City.
The last two weeks have seen winners from different countries from across the globe go through rigorous heats, which have already led to eliminations of some of the models.
Early this week, the world witnessed the official crown cocktail opening with the preliminary and national costume competition taking place yesterday. Now only 30 girls have been left in the competition.
The selection committee will be deciding on four regional contestants from either Latin America and the Carribean, Africa, Asia, Oceania or Europe. Additionally, the last semifinalist will be decided by a popular vote ahead of the final competition today.

The ‘noncompliance’ issue that led to her removal had something to do with her room arrangements. She said the issue occurred when she went to her room briefly to pick up some personal items and to put on makeup.
On her Instagram page, she wrote, “Unfortunately, I trusted and followed instructions without measuring the consequences. I would like to express that it was a severe measure and that it could have been solved with a dialogue or warning.”
She thanked and appreciated all her fans and supporters throughout the competition.
