Eight-time Grammy Award-winning music icon, Ms. Lauryn Hill, will headline the second day of a two-day music event in Nairobi, alongside Kenya’s hip-hop sensation Nyashinski.
This will be Ms. Hill's first major performance in Kenya since 2019 when she headlined a concert as part of her world tour promoting The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
For the first time since its inception in 2022, the event will extend over two days, featuring a stellar lineup of live performances from both local and international artists, along with art exhibitions, fashion displays, and other cultural experiences.
Ms. Lauryn Hill is celebrated for her pivotal role as a member of The Fugees and her influential contributions to hip-hop, R&B, and soul.
The Score, the 1996 album by The Fugees, redefined hip-hop, while Hill’s solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, cemented her as one of the most influential and enduring artists of her generation.
