Frontrunners Kanbis B, Ngara A go for the jugular in NPCA Division One League

Having already taken some impressive scalps, frontrunners Kanbis B and Ngara A will be going for the jugular as they resume the hunt for the coveted Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association (NPCA) 50-Overs League title.
This weekend’s Division One League has six matches lined-up at various venues with the second-tier teams going neck and neck on week 8 of the competition.
Log leaders Kanbis B will take on Sir Ali Muslim Club B at Eastleigh High School ground while Ngara play Wolves Cricket Club A at Ngara Sports Club in South C.
Shree Cutch Leva Patel Samaj (SCLPS YL B) will be at home against Obuya Cricket Club A while Ruaraka B take on GI Unicorns A at Ruaraka.
Kanbis B currently tops the Division One log on 24 poinst ahead of Ngara A and Obuya A with 18 points apiece. But Ngara are placed second place on Net Run rate.

The NPCA Division Two has five matches on the cards this Sunday. Leaders Stray Lions C take on third placed Wolves B in a match scheduled for Peponi School.
An-nadil Jamaly will play Kongonis B at Saifee in another Division Two match expected to produce fireworks.
Ngara B hope to maintain their second position on the table as they square it out with Cricket Legends at Impala grounds.
Stray Lions C have played five matches so far and lead the NPCA table on 19 points. Ngara B are paced second with 16 points followed by Wolved B also on 16, both teams separated on net run rate.
It will be interesting to see how teams battle for points on week 8 that’s expected to treat fans to some exhilarating displays.
Whatever is up the sleeves of the teams will be known when the matches get underway on Sunday morning.
