According to Barua, road users should observe traffic rules to reduce the loss of lives in road accidents.
"Let residents observe traffic rules whenever they are using roads. People who ride motorbikes should ensure they carry only one passenger. Drivers should drive at the recommended speed too," Barua said.
The bodies of the three victims were moved to the Homa Bay Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
