Fire guts Total Fourways petrol station along Kiambu Road

A massive fire broke out at the Total petrol station in Fourways along Kiambu Road, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky and sparking panic among motorists and nearby residents.
Firefighters were at the scene battling to contain the blaze by the time of going to press.
The inferno has led to a major traffic snarl-up along the busy road, with motorists urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
Authorities have yet to establish the cause of the fire.
