Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) won the second leg of the National Boxing League with a total of 21 points as the curtains came down at Alliance Francois Arena in Mombasa City.
on Saturday evening, KDF outwitted record champions Kenya Police with three points to send a stern warning of their intention to retain the title after missing the first leg in Busia.
The Policemen are, however, still at the top of the table standing with 42 points ahead of KDF 21 who tie with Nairobi County.
Nakuru County are fourth with 12 points with Kisumu County ahead of Nakuru ABC with eight points who tie with Kibra followed by Busia with six points among the top ten teams.

Kenya Prisons who like KDF missed the second leg that were hosted in Busia put up a formidable performance to finish fourth with seven points tying with Nairobi County team.
Prisons performance elated the team's management and promised to do even better in the third leg of the league championships set for Nanyuki next month.
"This was a recommendable performance after we missed the first leg in Busia. We hope even to improve on this next time," Kenya Prisons Secretary General Edward Mwaura told Standard Sports.
Kenya Prisons head coach Ibrahim Nassur has promised to restore lost glory to his team and ensure they beat league champions KDF and former champions Kenya Police.
"With all fairness, we can even beat the two teams," he said.
Nakuru Amateur Boxing Club finished sixth in Mombaasa with five points ahead of Mombasa County who tied on three points with their Kisumu counterparts and was followed by Nakuru County Boxing team at two points.
Kongowea, Githurai 44, Havana and Kwale County tied at the bottom with a point each.
The event was attended by 180 boxers drawn from clubs across the country.
This event is part of the Kenya-France Sports cooperation project Ndondi Mashinani that's being supported by French Embassy in Kenya.
