County launches strategic plan to help accelerate universal healthcare

Kajiado county government plans to spend over Sh1.6 billion on the Health sector, making the department the biggest beneficiary in this year's Sh6.4 billion Budget.

According to Deputy Governor Paul Ntiati, the bulk of the money will be spent on construction of more health centres, purchasing of drugs for various hospitals and hiring of more doctors and nurses.
