Six suspects linked to the theft of Sh104 million at a house in Lang’ata have been released on bond.
One of the suspects, Caleb Nagomere was released on a Sh3 million bond while the rest were set free on a bond of Sh1 million each.
Kibera Law Court magistrate Elector Riany yesterday ordered Nagomere to pay the bond with two sureties who should be civil servants.
The other suspects Shellomett Kiprono Jerop, who was a house help, Agaziva Brain Kenneth, Jackline Minayo, Patrick Mwangi and Eunice Akinyi were released on a bond of Sh1 million with a condition that they each provide two sureties who must also be civil servants.
They are all accused of stealing the money alongside jewellery, a title deed and logbook from businesswoman Samar Alkindy on April 29, 2022.
