A huge fire has reduced Nairobi Gikomba open air market to ashes.
The Friday morning inferno destroyed property worth millions but efforts are ongoing by the Nairobi City Council (NCC) fire team to contain the situation.
No casualties have been reported at the popular flea market
The cause of fire is still unknown.
The incident has displaced many traders from one of the biggest open air markets in the region.

In 2015, an estimated 10,000 traders lost goods worth millions of shillings after an early morning fire burnt hundreds sheds and a Family Bank branch.
