What can a man do to sweep a lady off her feet?

Please settle an argument between me and my mates. We can’t seem to agree about what a guy should do to make a good impression on the girls. Some of my friends spend all their time in the gym, because they think it’s the biggest pecs that turn a girl’s eye. Others argue for fancy clothes, watches, and expensive cars! And some say it’s all about the way they romance someone new. So in today’s world, where the rules all seem to have changed, what can a man do to sweep a lady off her feet?

It usually all starts with your eyes! Lots of smile lines, interest and charm. A clean, smart, and not too formal appearance counts for a lot, as does warmth, interest and courtesy. Girls do admire men’s muscles, but they don’t like them too big.

They’re pretty keen on men’s bottoms too, and like them tight and round with not an ounce of spare flesh. But mostly they rate your eyes more interesting than your pecs, and courtesy more than your rear.

And for sure, today’s ladies expect more from their men. The right appearance, grooming and manners. Assured and assertive, but not macho. Strong and confident, but not arrogant or hard. They like character and poise, and a man who’s genuinely interested in them and their feelings but who’s no wimp. 

Don’t be tempted to overdress, because it suggests you feel insecure. Instead aim for a nice balance of formal and casual. Use lots of soap, and a deodorant or a little after-shave if you like. But it’s important that your girlfriend can smell the real you. You’d be amazed how important your natural aroma is in attracting the right women to your side.

And women are romantic. So as your relationship takes off they want arousing words and tender but exciting kisses and caresses. Because deep down your girlfriend dreams of a man who’ll carry her off to bed like in an old movie. Who will make love slowly, and hold her gently through the night.

So make sure your first kiss is just right. Gentle, slow, firm and authoritative. Use just your lips to begin with. Lightly kiss her cheeks, her neck, her lips, until her mouth comes looking for yours. Then you can use your tongue a little and nibble. But don’t rush. Take your time, touch her gently, and don’t put her off by letting your hands stray too soon.

Hold her close, and make sure she feels that you’re also enjoying the intimacy. And when you finally get to the bedroom? Well, start undressing from the ground up. Because nothing looks sillier than a naked man hopping around trying to get his socks off!
