An ex-police officer has been charged with killing a pupil and injuring other six of them aged between 6-13 years on 17th May in Nairobi.
On the stated date, Mativo who ventured into farming after he retired was trying to get the said vehicle out of parking when he accidentally rammed into a school perimeter wall destroying it and running over a 9 old boy playing with others.
Those other boys sustained fractures on their fingers, bruises on their bodies having being hit by debris and were rushed for treatment.
The body of the deceased was taken to for post mortem and the scene visited, secured and sketch plan drawn.

The vehicle was inspected and found to have no Pre-accidents defects. Accused was arrested and charged but denied all charges.
The prosecution applied for bond suspension for two weeks since some of the victims are still admitted and that the charges need to be amended.
The court however granted him personal bond of Sh, 300,000 or alternatively pay cash bail of Sh 150,000. The matter will be mentioned on 5th June.
