The police by all means are bound by law to do their duty and are right on barring NASA followers from creating disorder around the airport. We all know that airports are restricted areas across the world, especially in this era when security people are battling terrorism.
Who knows, a terrorist may infiltrate the NASA mobs and create chaos. We have seen goons infiltrate demos and loot yet don’t want to learn. The world cannot stop just because one man arrived from the USA. Business must go on. The fact that they have vowed to defy the police order barring the said reception at the airport is a reflection of NASA’s defiant nature.
The airport is so guarded that they will have a hard time trying to storm it and should they succeed, police may be forced to use force to restrain them.
Do you want tear gas at the airport? It is regrettable they are in fact reading mischief in the said order. I bet had police told them to enter the airport they would have also read mischief and stayed away.
The NASA fraternity is advised to obey the law and meet their leader in a city stadium, park or in any part of the city. That will save them the trouble of paying fare to the airport (JKIA) and returning to a park for a rally.

A section of the police is simply getting into the political arena in the name of maintaining order by holding brief for our competitors.
Everybody knows the JKIA is not a military installation, neither is it a restricted area. In fact it has a special terminal (4) reception for dignitaries like Raila Odinga, who is returning to claim his presidency.
It also must be known it will not be the first time for the terminal to be open to the public. When Jubilee Party leader Uhuru Kenyatta returned from The Hague, then Interior minister Joseph Ole Lenku allowed the public to receive him from there. Why the double standards?
The common man may like to know. We are now hearing the airport will only admit people with legitimate business, which is laughable. It may take long but AIG George Kinoti will later appreciate that the mammoth crowd that will be at the airport to receive Raila Odinga will be on a legitimate business.
The police have the only option of offering security at the airport and every other place the masses will visit. From the airport we intend to proceed to Outering road, Jogoo road, and city centre before holding the mother of all rallies at Uhuru Park.
We have since notified the police of our meeting and entourage as the law requires. If anyone plans to confront the mammoth crowd, he must tell us first under what
