President Uhuru Kenyatta is the subject of criticism after a Facebook post on his page attacking NASA flagbearer Raila Odinga.
In the 21st century, social media has become a tool used by everyone to propagate whatever agenda they can, with politicians and celebrities making the most of it.
With only two days left in the elections, presidential candidates are doing all they can, including gathering masses on social media in efforts to sway those who have not decided already to choose them come August 8th.
Both President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga have been very active on social media, posting pictures and campaign messages as they traverse swing counties physically.
However, a post on August 3rd on President Kenyatta’s Facebook page has not been taken lightly by Kenyans, especially the manner in which the message was constructed.

The post says:
“The choice at this election is between the strong, unifying leadership of Uhuru Kenyatta and his Action Plan for all Kenyans, or the divisive politics and power-games of Raila and his politicians. Uhuru has an Action Plan to deliver 6.5m new jobs and a lower cost of living. Raila has a plan to win power for himself but no credible plans for anything else. Don’t risk Raila’s chaos. Let Uhuru finish the job.”
Kenyans bashed the president concerning this post, with most saying that such a post was irresponsible, as he should not use his social media pages to undermine his opponents.
