Graduation is always a happy moment for all. For undergraduates, it is the happiest moment ready to "face" the world with that first degree. But after graduation there are some things you must do as you hustle before you land yourself a job.
1. You must fit to your and our society. No matter what, society is waiting for you. Whether it your rural or urban society, you cannot run from it. This therefore means you have to be socially fit lest you want to be rejected. Society cannot consider you as their product when you are a criminal or doing what it term as bad. Your ways of doing things, seeing things and of course relating to the people will determine your fitness.
2. Be an entrepreneur. After graduation you have to be innovative and find ways to make money to sustain you before you get a job. Remember that you are off school and HELB is not an option for you. Think of ways to hustle and get some little cash that will sustain your personal needs.
3. Be updated. After graduation you must be always updated. Being updated is not a guarantee of your career but it will get you ready to what you should accept. Get every updates; politically, economically and career updates.
4. Never stop learning. Learning should never stop for you. Do not stick yourself to what you studied in the university. Open you mind to new things. You never know, maybe the new things that you learn will be a break through to your corporate world.

5. Volunteer. Volunteering will give you a chance to experience before you start working. It is also another way to learn new things, socialize with people and get used to the working environment. It is also a chance to explore new things. At the end of volunteering you would have gained more than expected. You never know, you may be employed in the area you volunteer.
6. Have a positive attitude. Your attitude towards your life, work and career is what will keep you going. Always remain optimistic and believe in yourself.
Follow these simple steps and after graduation life will not be a torture to you.
