Oksyde: Jameson is my thing

Oksyde is a fast-rising Kenyan hip hop artiste, who has collaborated with artises such as Abbas Kubbaf and Khaligraph Jones on tracks such as Mavichwa and Nduru. He has worked on solo projects and performed at this year’s Hip Hop Connect event.

Acting or singing

Singing. I am terrible at it so if I was given the choice to be either of the two, I would want to be a singer.

Heels or flats?

Whenever a lady puts on high heels, she tends to get taller than me so I definitely go for flats. It is easier for her to keep up with my pace when we are walking.

Night out with the guys or indoors with the ‘mamaa’?

That’s a tricky one. Let me put it this way; there’s a time for both of them. All you have to do is know how to balance them.

Beer or liquor?

I’m not a fan of brown bottles so I go with liquor. Jameson whisky is my preferable drink.

Movie or play at the theatre?

There’s that thrill that one gets from a live performance so my answer is a play.
