Since it was introduced in 2004, the Mark X has continued to be popular in Kenya and celebrities have not been left behind in endorsing the series that falls under the Toyota X platform.
Many call it a hybrid that is a combination of its Mark 11 siblings; the sporty Toyota Chaser and the luxurious Toyota Cresta that strikes the Camry appeal.
That is one reason Emmanuel went for this make.
“With an engine capacity of 2,499cc and compression ratio of 12, its performance is real good. I like its performance; talking about speed, fuel consumption and power,” he says.
“I love speed and even though this is not the fastest car in the market, it is serving me well, for now,” he adds.
He says he has not done much to change its original look, not even the audio sound.
“The interior is quite spacious and the seats are real comfortable. One can stretch their legs well and be comfortable while driving or just enjoying a ride. I had a Wish before I bought this car and I can say it is by far better.
“I call him Jumbo because that's my dog's name,” he concludes.
