A man has been arraigned in court for allegedly breaking his girlfriend’s her rib.
The court heard that Kennedy Ochieng Oyoo attacked Caroline Wangui on May 30 within Kasarani area.
Police said Oyoo arrived home after having a few drinks at a nearby bar and to picked a fight with his girlfriend.
Police said that Oyoo lost his cool after he arrived home and realised that food was not ready, and that he was not being treated like a ‘king.’
Oyoo is alleged to have hit Wangui in the torso and broke her rib before taking off. Wangui had to be rushed to hospital for treatment.
The accused however denied the charges and was released on a Sh60,000 cash bail or surety bond of Sh150,000.
The matter will be heard on October 4.
