Its good news for Sauti Sol after they landed two spots in the 6th edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) slated to be held in South Africa on the 22nd of October.
The talented quartet has a better chance of winning after they bagged two nominations.
They go head to head with Patoranking, AKA, Nasty C and DJ Maphorisa for a chance to win ‘Best Collab’ for their collabo with Ali Kiba in ‘Unconditional Bae’.
In the ‘Best Group’ category it will be a race against Toofan, Micasa, R2Bees and Navy Kenzo.
As the excitement and news slowly sink, it is official that South African comedian and media personality Trevor Noah will host the live two hour awards show.

The group remains the only Kenyan act nominated in the prestigious awards so far, unlike previous years where P Unit, Daddy Owen and other artists were nominated.
