A gas explosion has been reported at a station on Desai Road in Ngara, Nairobi.
The incident allegedly occurred early Sunday, September 1, and is believed to have been triggered by a transformer malfunction.
Witnesses shared video clips of the incident, showing flames erupting, on X.
Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei said the fire has been contained and no casualties have been reported.
