Two suspects have asked a city court to order that a semen test be carried on woman’s underwear to help determine who actually raped her.
Paul Otieno, a painter aged 27, and Peter Omondi, a bus conductor aged 30, (pictured above) are accused that on November 14, they sexually assaulted and raped the woman.
The two also allegedly cash and a mobile phone from the 50-year-old woman in Buruburu.
The court heard that the woman was leaving a relative’s burial arrangement meeting at around 2am when the suspects, known to her, and who were in the same meeting, offered to accompany her home.
She says that the two men tore her panties and repeatedly forced themselves on her.
She claims she became unconscious and later woke up to find her panties placed next to her head, with Sh15,000 mobile phone valued at Sh3,000 missing.
The suspects denied the charges and requested for the semen test. The matter will be mentioned on December 27.
