Former Internal Security Assistant minister Orwa Ojode’s mother and his widow, Mary Ojode, are engaged in a legal battle over Ojode’s estate.

Mrs Ulda Aloo Ojode has gone to court seeking to stop the National Assembly from processing the benefits and paying the same to the widow.

She has sued the National Assembly and the widow. Ulda moved to court under a certificate of urgency on August 10 seeking temporary orders. The widow was yet to be served with the suit papers as she was still in Ndhiwa.

Justice Mary Ang’awa did not issue any orders but directed the parties to appear in court on August 27.
