Two men in Kisumu charged for stealing two biro pens and a toothbrush

A Kisumu law court on Monday charged two men for stealing two biro pens and a toothbrush on August 23, 2018 at Obunga Estate, Kanyakwar Sub-Location in Kisumu County.

The court heard that Felix Ouma and Frank Onyango broke into Gervin Owino’s house on that fateful night and stole two biro pens, one toothbrush, one handkerchief, one earphone, a Samsung phone charger, two cushions, one equity visa card, two backpacks and 3 sufurias valued at Sh4, 335.

One suspects pleaded not guilty as his fellow compatriot entered a guilty plea despite being caught together before Principal Magistrate Christopher Yalwala.

The case was set to be mentioned at a later date because the police were still looking for the sufurias to present as evidence before the court.

In the same court, Kennedy Amago was charged for stealing one packet of 2kg Unga Mill valued at Sh110 property of United Millers at Kisumu East District in Kisumu County.

Mr. Amago pleaded guilty to the charges and was remanded back to police custody.

The prosecutor requested more time to ready the facts surrounding the theft and the case was set to be mentioned at a later date.
