Netizens crown Kivutha Kibwana 'the Governor of the year' for piloting food processing and preservation

Makueni County Governor Kivutha Kibwana has earned praise from netizens after he launched a milk processing plant and commissioned a mango processing plant in an attempt to revolutionize the food processing industry in the County.

Makueni County has been known for being among the driest parts of the country.

The Governor on January 10 and 11 posted pictures on his Facebook page showing the progress of the two projects. For the mango processing plant, he said that the Makueni Fruit Processing Plant engines have roared to life again, to process this season's mango harvest.

I have to applaud Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana for the good work he is doing in his county.

I hope the other 46 governors are borrowing lessons.

Apart from Kikima Dairy Plant, every person aged 70 yrs and above is treated free of charge in my county. The rest of us only need a card we refer to as "ila card ya Kivutha" for treatment. Universal health care is working here. Very proud of Professor as my "ngavana"!

We dont have many dairy cows in Makueni but atleast we have a good governor unlike many counties with many cows, cow governors and county assemblies full of cows!

We’ve Only one Governor who’s overworking in Kenya. The launch of Kikima Dairy Plant, Makueni Fruit Processing Plant and other massive dev’t projects in Makueni county shows the good job by Governor Prof. Kivutha Kibwana. You’ll never see him hyping this, it speaks for itself!
