If the election were held today 47 per cent of Kenyans would vote for President Kenyatta while 43 per cent would elect Raila for the country’s top job, latest Ipsos poll shows. The polls statistics also indicate that 61 per cent of Kenyans feel we are going in wrong direction while 27 per cent believe that the country is headed in the right direction.
On the two top contenders for the Presidential seat and their running mates,40 per cent of Kenyans have confidence in President Kenyatta while 39 per cent have confidence in NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga. 33 per cent of Kenyan voters have trust in Deputy President William Ruto while 34 per cent have belief in Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka .
The survey also show that 48 per cent of Jubilee supporters feel Kenya is headed in the right direction as 87 per cent of NASA followers say Kenya is on the wrong path.
On IEBC,majority of Jubilee supporters, 75%, and less than half of NASA supporters, 43%, have confidence in the Chebukati led commission.
