Johnny Depp explained he believed it was "responsible parenting" because he didn't his daughter to have a bad experience while he wasn't there.

Johnny Depp said he gave his daughter Lily-Rose marijuana when she was 13. It has come to light in court as the actor, 57, is suing News Group Newspapers over a story published in The Sun in 2018 which branded him a "wife-beater" - a claim he denies.

The trial kicked off at the High Court in London with both Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, 32, in attendance. Johnny took to the stand to give his testimony and his witness statement was presented in court on Tuesday.
