Elton John’s ex-wife has been praised for launching a legal action against the star.

Reclusive Renate Blauel, 67, filed a High Court injunction believed to be over her appearance in Sir Elton’s 2019 autobiography, Me.

An ex-pal of the singer said: “It’s good that someone takes him to task. No one else has been brave enough.”

Renate reportedly warned Elton, 73, worth £320million, not to breach their non-disclosure divorce deal in the book and now seeks “an official ruling”.

According to an upcoming tell-all book by Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton, the President was keen to build bridges through the power of music.

Being a massive fan of Elton John himself, Trump is said to have been determined to get Kim a CD of Rocket Man after discovering the rival leader had never heard the track.
