Health CS Mutahi Kagwe on Saturday named some of the Nairobi
estates that have registered some cases of Coronavirus in the country.
Speaking at Afya House, the CS noted that Kenyans should
adhere to the guidelines issued by the ministry because local transmission of
the virus was on the rise.
He, however, did not outline whether the government would
come up with stringent measures to contain the spread of the virus in city
estates.
Below are some of the estates where cases of Coronavirus
have been reported in Nairobi:
This comes as 1115 people were tested and 16 tested
positive, taking the national tally to 262.
Out of the 16, 12 are male and four are female.
Seven more people have been discharged bringing the number
of recoveries in the country to 60.
Two patients also lost their lives bringing the number of
those who have succumbed to the disease in Kenya to 12.
