Adele will finally be releasing new music this year - and fans should perhaps be braced for new tunes sooner than they expect, according to her closest work colleagues.
Fans of the 31-year-old chart topping star have endured an agonising wait for new tunes after her last album, the critically acclaimed 25, was released way back in 2015.
However, the South London songstress should be belting out new ballads before we know it - according to her manager, Jonathan Dickins.

Opening up to the renowned trade magazine Music Week, Jonathan explained that the long wait for Adele’s fourth studio album will finally come to an end in 2020.
“[New music should be expected in 2020], and the sooner the better,” Jonathan declared as he spoke to the magazine.
The manager and his sister Lucy Dickins - who is Adele’s agent - explained that they both discovered the singer at the same time, and both worked with her without knowing the other was working with her too.
“Someone said that I should check her out. At the time my office was my house and she came for tea, I met her there and we started working together,” Jonathan explained as he reflected on his working relationship with Adele so far.
While Lucy also has fond early memories of working with the Rolling In The Deep star.

“I met her through a friend who came with her and I'll never forget it. She said she was a singer and said ‘Do you want a CD?’” she recalls.
“I said yes, and she turned to the other person and said ''Oi, give me back my CD, I want to give it to her.'' And after the first song I played, I said this is insane, so I called Jonathan,” she added.
