I am not dead — Norman Magaya speaks after rumours that he is no more

NASA CEO Norman Magaya on Tuesday stated that he is alive and under the care of competent doctors, rubbishing rumours that he is no more.

Through a tweet, he lashed out at ‘agents of doom’ for spreading fake news about him.

“Contrary to fake news being perpetuated by agents of doom that I have passed away, I wish to confirm that am well and putting in a good fight to fully recover.

“Am safe under the care of competent medical doctors and I will be back stronger than before,” he said.

Magaya, who has a heart condition, is currently in India for treatment and recently reiterated that ODM has stood with him throughout.

“I have had a recurrent heart condition for the past four months and been admitted in hospital on three occasions latest being last week.

“On all occasions both the coalition leadership and the ODM Party have stood with me,” he said.

Earlier this week Magaya stated that the drugs were taking a toll on him but he vowed to keep on fighting despite the odds.

“Taking a heavy toll from side effects of drugs. Appetite is a luxury. Am however glad to be responding well to medication!” he remarked.

According to ODM, Magaya will be away for around two weeks and will be accorded the support he needs until his return.
