There are some Kenyans on social media who have expressed different views concerning Liu Jiaqi deportation.
Liu Jiaqi was arrested on September 6 after he was caught on camera calling Kenyans and President Uhuru Kenyatta monkeys among other insults.
Speaking to the employee who leaked the video, the incident happened after a business trip to Machakos went wrong.
The employee says insults are very common and they only keep quiet to maintain their jobs.
"The company has about 8 Chinese and 12 Kenyans and all the Chinese here are our bosses and we do not know who is the overall boss. Insults here are a common occurrence and we just persevere to keep our jobs," the employee said.
According to Immigration Kenya, Liu’s work permit has been revoked and is set to face deportation on racism grounds.
“Chinese National by the Name Liu Jiaqi who was captured on video yesterday using abusive words has been arrested. His work permit has been canceled and will be deported on racism grounds,” said Immigration Kenya.
However, some netizens pointed out that he should not be deported but be imprisoned.
Others echoed their opinions saying that Liu was only speaking his mind and thus he does not need to be deported.
Here are some of the opinions;
Liu Jiaqi has enraged you so much that he had to be deported. What about Matsanga David?— Nelson Havi (@NelsonHavi) September 6, 2018
Liu Jiaqi shouldn't be deported that fast. We want to meet him hapo Ngara and have a little chat about his experience in Kenya kwanza.

Why deport someone who is breaking the law?? Don't we have prison?? So we are giving them another chance to be free and keep on breaking the law! Kenyan's law doesn't only apply to Kenyans only but all the people living or working in Kenya!! Liu Jiaqi should serve as an example.— Ronoh K Clinton ???????? (@RonohClinton) September 6, 2018
I guess Liu Jiaqi was arrested because he called Uhuru noogle . Many Chinese nationals have been abusing and misusing Kenyans and none has ever been deported

Liu Jiaqi is not a diplomatic official,he got no diplomatic immunity. The question is,why is the government deporting instead of prosecuting for crime committed within Kenya's territory?

Liu Jiaqi does not deserve deportation at all.
He spoke his mind as a free thinker and as a free nation, with freedom of expression I request he be handed over to us to express ourselves on him too.
These people have abused and mistreated us for too long!!— Ching Li???????? (@JoshTheChelsea) September 6, 2018
If its deportation, then deport "Liu Jiaqi" with all the Chinese living in Kenya ....otherwise we want him Rot in jail for calling @UKenyatta and all Kenyans poor monkeys!!— APOLLO McLEYRAH™ (@Apollovanilla) September 6, 2018
I am left wondering how comes Liu Jiaqi is 'only' being deported? If i was in China and used similar words, i would probably be hanged. The recent spate of alleged mistreatment at the SGR by Chinese nationals aggravates the matter. The Chinese Embassy is unusually quiet.— Anthony Muthara (@tonnesmwai) September 6, 2018
