Former presidential candidates triggers hot debate with Miguna Miguna's deportation remarks

Former Education Principal Secretary Professor James Ole Kiyiapi has shared his sentiments regarding the re-deportation of national Resistance Movement 9NRMKe) self-declared general Miguna Miguna. Tweeting his opinion, the former presidential candidate evoked reactions from both critics and supporters.

Mr Kiyiapi said that the government has no justification to subject Miguna (a Kenyan citizen) to indignity and suffering.

Miguna, a lawyer was deported for the first time on February 8 following his contribution to the swearing-in of Raila Odinga. He was re-deported a second time on Wednesday, March 28 to Dubai just a day after his arrival. According to him, he was drugged after refusing to board the Dubai bound plane.

We are told to remember the idea, not the man. Because a man can fail. He can be caught,he can be killed and forgotten. But four hundred years later an idea can still change the world https://t.co/WdlT9cqmtd #MigunaDeportedAgain#bincoafrica #CityEvoquation #MyNetwork #NP pic.twitter.com/q0LceiuUhV— BincoAfrica (@BincoAfrica) March 30, 2018

I’m sure if the government was interested in this one Dr Miguna, there are a million ways but deportation... wrong and worsts move.

I agree with you Prof. We will not waver! Uhuru might think that things are stable now because of that fraudster's backing, but soon the weight of these injustices he might consider insignificant will start to weigh the country down, in a big way! #MigunaDeportedAgain— Aol Jared (@JaredAOL) March 30, 2018

Thank you my leader, these are the times we must have to know true leaders. Speak it out

What is your problem dude? All Miguna has to do is present his Canadian passport for stamping and in he comes!I am beginning to think you have a bone to pick with this government. If so your hatred is https://t.co/FvQRqXDPfJ has been streamlined and you were there and did nothing— Let’s talk (@ole_tipis) March 30, 2018

The fact that the CONSTITUTION of Kenya can no longer control actions of and power abuse by Uhuru Kenyatta and his government, is evidenced by the regime's refusal to obey Court Orders.
Hence a new government must be formed. Before doing so, the present government must RESIGN.— Pinyluo-Africa (@pinyluo_africa) March 30, 2018

Are you still a Kenyan Citizen even after renouncing citizenship and not re-applying as per legal prescribed procedures? Isn't renouncing dropping your birthright in favour of another country's rights? Did M² give false information on the Kenyan new generation ID & PP forms?— ????? .Capt (@mainamunyeria) March 31, 2018

It’s also shameful when your pride over takes you, if miguna was humble it would be a different thing but because of his pride he is suffering at the expense of @RailaOdinga ???? to punish him.

Yes sir . Its makes us foolish to disenfranchise a fellow Kenyan and # embrace a foreigners.. first moral is to reckon your own national compatriots— John Kamar (@JohnKamar2) March 31, 2018

Kenya is lucky the good Professor Kiyiapi never became its president, it would be under jungle law where national ID would be international travel document and not passport which he HIMSELF produces at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on departure and arrival without EXCEPTION pic.twitter.com/pDJawk2APb
