Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi said the only way to avoid chaos in the country is if President Uhuru Kenyatta turns into a dictator like the second president of the republic Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi. Mutahi, in an episode of the Fifth Estate with his students of Fort Hall School of Government, made this statement on Saturday, February 3.
According to them, the current state of political unrest in the country is as a result of lack of aggressiveness by the president in his first five years of office. They explain that by being politically soft, Uhuru enabled National Super Alliance (NASA) Coalition leader Raila to have his way with the country.
“During his first term, Uhuru was a log king. Raila, the media and all time of Mukoras had a ball jumping all over him, but after the Maraga fiasco, something changes,” said J.M a lawyer.
They said that the claims by the public that the country is back into the ‘Moi era’ are true. They argued that when in power former president Moi did not entertain jokers and those who joked with politics were forced to run away in self-exile. “The answer to the chaos in the country is through order and firmness by President Uhuru,” added another lawyer Mrs.K.
The team accused Raila of using the media for his gain after president Uhuru neglected his duties in his first term.
