It is now clear that the NASA leader Raila Odinga has taken the oath in a swearing-in ceremony which took place today at Uhuru Park.
The event took a unique turn when the would be deputy president Kalonzo Musyoka and two other principals, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi failed to attend the event.
To the surprise of many, media houses were shut down to prevent any live coverage of the event.
It all started when, to the shock of many, the police withdrew from Uhuru Park. Their withdrawal allowed the NASA supporters to continue singing, dancing and waiting for their leader.
The ceremony, which was supposed to commence at 10.00 am and end at around 2.00 pm was delayed due to deliberations.
At last Raila Odinga made his way to Uhuru Park, to the relief of the supporters.
