Former Arsenal, Manchester City and France attacking midfielder Samir Nasri has made headlines again.

According to Turkish sports website Sporx, the French midfield maestro is set to become a free agent after reports of his leaving Antalyaspor emerged.

Nasri, who has scored two goals in four games for the Turkish outfit allegedly asked to be released by the club who are struggling to pay his wages.


Sporx says Nasri expressed his desire to leave Antalyaspor through the club manager.


It is reported that Nasri has a salary of around four million euros and is hurting the club financially.


Nasri played for Arsenal for three seasons before making the move to rivals Manchester City, where he had a rather eventful career and a falling out with Pep Guardiola.
