Getting identification cards in Kenya is a big headache

I never thought of writing this but as things are, I will not continue being quiet because it has become too much, and as it is said, the moment we stop talking about the things that matter to us is the moment we die.

Getting identification cards in this country is a big headache that might be the result of political differences.

Kenyans have a constitutional right to national ID cards, which are not only used in elections but also in many transactions.

Many have been complaining about this matter and I second them by explicitly putting my case down on paper that it has now been seven months since I applied for my ID card. Am I not entitled to it?

Let's be realistic as this regional leadership and impunity should come to an end once and for all. It is our right to have IDs and passports. Period.
