Kenya coach Joseph Juma and his assistant Tabitha Amadiro said they were confident they would qualify.
"We have looked around and have seen other teams are yet to reach our standards," said Juma. Burundi coach Patrice Niyonsaba tipped Kenya for the world ticket after watching the host’s game.
"Like Kenya, this is our first international championship but Kenya has shown great potential. We lost to Kenya because my team started training late. I would not be surprised to see Kenya at the podium tomorrow (today) receiving the ticket," he said.
