Summary of Gachagua's defense at impeachment hearing

1. Charges that the Deputy President was involved in the  Sh3.7 billion mosquito net tender from KEMSA through a proxy firm: 

"I had no involvement in the KEMSA  Sh3.7 billion tender. The claim is false, and the tendering process was conducted independently."

"The funds for renovations were approved by Parliament, and I had no involvement with the contractor, Agrobriq Investments Ltd."

3. Payment to Lusona Events Limited:

"I have no knowledge of this company. I am neither a director nor a shareholder, and I had no role in any financial transactions."
