The adverse effects of climate change are increasingly evident in the agricultural sector, resulting in decreased income and heightened poverty levels among rural populations.

Extreme weather events, exacerbated by climate change, such as droughts, floods, and erratic rainfall patterns, disrupt agricultural activities, leading to crop failures and reduced yields. This not only undermines food security but also exacerbates poverty, as many rural communities rely heavily on agriculture for their livelihoods.
