Preparations are in top gear for this year’s Blackrock Easter Festival, set to take place on April 13, at RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.

The dynamic event organised by Kenya Harlequin Football Club promises a celebration of youth rugby and international sportsmanship, bringing together talented young athletes across Kenya, East Africa, and the Middle East.

The Blackrock Easter Festival will showcase the prowess of youth rugby with a thrilling lineup of 12 boys' teams and four girls' teams, including representatives from regions across Kenya, as well as international squads from East Africa and the Middle East.

Dubai Exiles FC, Uganda Cobs, EPS Morans and Little Sports Organisation are some of the top teams that have already confirmed their participation in the event.

"We are thrilled to host the Blackrock Easter Festival and welcome teams from across Kenya, as well as our international counterparts," Kenya Harlequin chairman Victor Sudi said during yesterday’s press briefing in Nairobi.

"Our commitment to developing the sport of rugby extends beyond our borders, and this festival exemplifies our dedication to nurturing young talent and promoting the values of sportsmanship and camaraderie."

"We are thrilled to partner with Akili Kids TV for the Blackrock Easter Festival," said Manuel Wa-Tindi, Blackrock Tournament Director.

"Their dedication to providing quality children's programming aligns perfectly with our mission to offer positive experiences for young athletes and spectators.

The festival will feature a lively atmosphere with family-friendly entertainment, interactive activities, and delicious food and refreshments. Spectators can look forward to a day filled with fast-paced rugby action and memorable experiences for all ages.
