The government has disbursed Sh2 billion in funds to Inua Jamii beneficiaries to cover November 2023 payments.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection on Friday, December 1 released Sh2,095,360,000 for the beneficiaries enrolled in the Inua Jamii program.

Another Sh6 million was released towards improving nutrition through a complementary program known as Cash and Health Education (NICHE).

The beneficiaries will start receiving their payments on Monday, December 4, 2023, Labour Principal Secretary Joseph Motari has announced.

"The funds were credited to the accounts of 1,044,621 Inua Jamii beneficiaries, with each beneficiary receiving Sh2,000 being payment for November 2023," said PS Motari.
