Murang'a SEAL on Wednesday held AFC Leopards to a 1-1 draw at SportPesa Arena as the FKF Premier League entered round 16 with midweek matches ahead of the Christmas holiday break.

The draw stretched SEAL's winless run to six matches where they lost three matches and three draws.

Victor Omune gave Ingwe the lead in the 25th minute before Samuel Semo restored parity for SEAL from the spot moments later for a 1-1 half time break.

The second half witnessed no goals as SEAL now remain eighth on the log with 23 points.

In Kisumu, Sofapaka suffered their tenth defeat of the campaign after going down 1-0 to Muhoroni Youth at Muhoroni Stadium.

Tarik Babu's sixth minute goal was all Muhoroni Youth needed for the win.

The win, the second in a row for Muhoroni after their weekend's 1-0 win over Posta Rangers, got the Charles Odera side out of the relegation zone.

Muhoroni are 14th with 15 points while Sofapaka dropped into the relegation zone.

Elsewhere, Tusker continued with their resurgence after a 1-0 win over the troubled Kenya Police at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Fabian Adikinyi struck the match winner in stoppage time to send Tusker to sixth in the standings.

Meanwhile, on Thursday (today), KCB FC will take on Nzoia Sugar. KCB, currently second on the table, will see this as a must-win game to keep the pressure on the league leaders, Gor Mahia. Nzoia Sugar, after their defeat to Tusker, will need to regroup quickly to avoid slipping further down the table.

Bidco United, who held K. Sharks to a goalless draw, will face Shabana FC. Shabana, coming off a big win, will be looking to carry that goal-scoring form into this match, while Bidco United will aim to tighten up at the back and find the net themselves.

Ulinzi Stars will go head to head with Posta Rangers in a mid-table clash that could go either way. Both teams will be eager to get back to winning ways after losses in their last outings.
