The Summit whose theme is 'driving green growth and climate finance solutions for Africa and the World' was officially opened by President William Ruto.

Several areas including City Hallway, Wabera Street, Parliament Road, and the Supreme Court will remain sealed off until the end of the Summit which will be September 6.

The first day of the Summit is branded Ministerial Day, where ministers are more involved in the Summit's activities as heads of state attend to other official responsibilities.
