50 Cent: Celibacy enables you to think straight

American rapper 50 Cent recently talked about his celibacy journey that has been ongoing for the past few months.

During an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, the rapper said he was ‘happily unwedded’ and celibacy had enabled him to remain focused on his goals.

When asked why he was amassing wealth yet he does not have a partner, the father of two said:

“Listen, when you calm down, you can focus…I've been good to me…It's when things start getting complicated, things start getting confusing because people are coming for different reasons.

“If you go on a date and you have no interest in anything... I can see you now. Say, ‘Goddamn girl you fine but you ain't got nothing going on,” he said.

Earlier this year, 50 Cent shared an ambitious celibacy plan saying he did not have time to be distracted.

He added that he was fully focused on his goals and was determined to fulfil all his plans.

“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level,” wrote 50 in January.

During the interview with Colbert, 50 was asked if he had ever been married and he said:

“I’m safe. I’m not a happy hostage. I’m here. I’m free. I made some mistakes, just not that one.”

He, however, said he is open to loving someone but not at the moment.
