Former President Daniel Moi's daughter, June Chebet Moi is dead.
June died at the age of 60 years, the Moi family has confirmed.
The cause of her death is yet to be disclosed, although the family has requested privacy as they mourn their kin.
Here is Moi's family's full statement:
"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing on of our beloved, June Chebet Moi this morning. At this time of grief, we request your prayers and privacy as we the family come to terms with the tragic loss of our sister. May her soul rest in eternal peace."

Condolence Messages
President William Ruto has joined the country in condoling the Moi family, following June's passing.
"My heartfelt condolences to the family of the late President Daniel Arap Moi over the loss of June Chebet Moi. May God give you strength at this difficult time. Rest in peace, June," the president wrote on X.
Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and MSME Development Simon Chelugui also condoled with the family, remembering June as a patriot.
"I take this opportunity to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of our second President, the late Daniel Arap Moi, following the passing on of his daughter June Moi. I am saddened by the news of June's death and hereby join other Kenyans in mourning the passing on of this wonderful lady, a patriot."
