Kenya Airways has said that flights in and out of Kisumu International Airport have resumed normalcy.
This follows Thursday evening’s bird strike which resulted in a plane temporarily being stuck on the runway.
According to KQ, the aircraft had landed safely in Kisumu but could not exit the runway fully as the bird strike affected the aircraft's steering components.
Passengers were safely evacuated and an inspection was conducted, declaring the runway safe.
