Former president Uhuru Kenyatta has implored Kenyans to join hands in service to God and humanity.
Kenyatta made the remarks while delivering his Christmas message in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“Fellow Kenyans, as citizens of this great nation called Kenya, we ought to take to heart the lesson of Christmas. Kenya our motherland is home to many different faiths, tribes and a people of diverse backgrounds. It is this recognition that should give us the impetus to pull our strengths together and strive to make Kenya even better,” said Kenyatta.
Further, the former president encouraged Kenyans to share with the less fortunate living amongst them during this festive season as well as drive responsibly.
“Let us all be responsible during this festive season more so on our roads. “Better arrive late than never” and be mindful of other road users.
