A section of Mombasa Road (Mombasa bound lane) at Imaara Mall will remain closed from December 25 to December 31, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced.
According to a statement by KeNHA Director General Kung'u Ndung'u, the road will be closed to allow excavation and installation of a cross culvert.
"To minimise the traffic disruption within this period, the closure will only affect two lanes out of the four lanes. Motorists will be required to use the two Mombasa Bound lanes as they exercise caution on this section," said Ndung'u.
Further, the Director General has advised motorists to follow the traffic signs and guidelines in place.
